My name is Ms. Jacqueline, and I teach second grade in Downers Grove, my hometown! My educational journey includes earning a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Dayton and, more recently, completing a Master's in Science Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.
Utilizing my background in general education, I take pride in tailoring my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. I aim to foster a warm and supportive environment where every child feels valued and motivated to explore their potential. Central to my teaching philosophy is the belief in building strong connections with both students and their families. I firmly believe that effective communication and collaboration among other educators, students, and parents enhance the learning experience.
Beyond the classroom and tutoring, I enjoy coaching lacrosse and spending time with family and my dog, Sully. I am thrilled to be part of JAM teaching, eager to form a meaningful relationship with you and your child, and excited about the educational journey ahead!
