My name is Ms. Maggie, and I will actively engage in your child's learning and development. I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to work closely with your child this year. I graduated with a degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. I believe that every student can learn in their own way. Through this philosophy, I want to emphasize the importance of developing and implementing a curriculum for students of all abilities. I will work tirelessly to create a respectful, comforting, and fun community within the learning environment.
I welcome and encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns. I will also be in communication with you when needed. Parental/guardian involvement and support of a student's learning is a crucial factor and a significant influence on the student's success and self-confidence. So please feel free to email, call, or text.
I'll share a little about myself to give you a better idea of who I am. I am originally from Western Springs, Illinois. I have an older sister, Sarah, a teacher with three boys. I have an older brother, Matt, who recently had his first child. I love sports, especially soccer, basketball, and volleyball. After 35 years as a teacher, my mother retired, and my father is a salesman. Outside work, I exercise, read, and have recently gotten into cooking.
I look forward to working with JAM teaching and to helping children across the Chicagoland area learn and grow academically and personally.
