As a veteran homeschooling mother of twenty years, I have experienced the challenge of educating up to four or five of my children each year and managing a busy family of nine.  Each year brought the difficult task of being flexible but steadfast in maintaining time and planning a curriculum that would keep the children engaged but appropriately challenged.   Each year was individualized for each learner.   Because homeschooling naturally lends itself to allowing the children to work at their own pace, a valuable aspect is the ability to move through easier concepts and reinforce or enrich other subjects.

As a person who also has experience in the corporate world, I realize that results validate the process.  My oldest three successfully transitioned to rigorous honors and advanced placement curriculum in high school to acceptance into several selective colleges.  They have also proven themselves as leaders, demonstrated by their appointment as captains of their respective sports.  The two who are in high school now are currently in the honors and AP track as well.
