My name is Ms. Joyce and I am a kindergarten teacher in Elmwood Park. During the summer, I enjoy teaching Jumpstart to a Kindergarten class at my school. This program prepares incoming kindergarten students for the year.  I also assist in the summer program at Concordia University ECEC, where I previously taught preschool for 8 years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Kendall College at National Louis University and my ESL Endorsement from Concordia University. I have four children: a 25-year-old daughter, a 24-year-old son, a 21-year-old daughter, and an 18-year-old son. They were my biggest support team when I went to college to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher.My favorite quote is from Mother Theodore Guerin: "Love the children first, then teach them." I am passionate about helping young children learn and grow, and I look forward to building a relationship with your family to support your child's educational journey.
