My name is Ms. Madeleine, and I'm thrilled to be part of your student's academic journey! I hail from Northbrook, Illinois, and proudly call Hyde Park my home. As an undergraduate at the University of Chicago, majoring in Cognitive Science and Economics, I'm deeply fascinated by the human mind and decision-making processes and how this knowledge can enhance learning.

Throughout my education, I have been inspired by teachers and professors who are passionate about what they teach, and I strive to share that love of learning with everyone around me. I have a wealth of experience in this area, having tutored professionally for three years and volunteered through my high school's tutoring center. I am especially experienced in working with middle and high school students in math and science, helping them develop problem-solving skills and confidence in STEM topics.

Outside of the classroom, I love to dance. Being on dance teams has shown me the value of forming communities, which has sparked my passion for mentorship. I also enjoy going for walks outside and soaking in the beauty of nature. I look forward to building a supportive relationship with both students and families.
