We recommend starting off any meeting with the positive. What the child CAN do, what they have learned, accomplished, and are (and should be!) proud of.

We're here to remind you to meet the child where they are. Appreciate and acknowledge all of their capabilities. Build on strengths. Admire their expertise. Welcome mistakes, and teach them how to rebound from them. Oh, and don't forget to celebrate all of their progress. Because everyone is growing- everyday.
