Full Evaluation 📄

Transparency and honesty are key.

Ways to start the evaluation:📣 Parents may request that their child be evaluated for special education services.

📣 A pediatrician might suggest to the parents that the child be evaluated for special education services.

📣 The school system, based on a teacher's recommendations, may ask that the child be considered to be evaluated for special education services.

A full evaluation is recommended in order to get a full picture of the child. Many times one domain may effect another. When given the option- always go with a full evaluation. ⭐ Remember, they are looking for areas to help your child.

A full evaluation is often conducted over a period of time (not all in one sitting) and looks at: the child's health, vision and hearing, social and emotional needs, general intelligence, academic performance, communicative status, and motor abilities.

Experts work one on one with the child through this process. Reach out with any questions. Our educational consultants would love to help you navigate this process!
